Pru Morrison's Fantastic Illustrative Ceramics

I ran across these lovely drawings on Bum Crane. The artist has used terrasig on already fired wares and then carved into it. As with slips, I would normally apply terrasig in the greenware state but this seems to be another way of doing it. Since the piece would already be hard it wouldn't carve into the clay as much and I feel like you could get some really detailed lines. The state your piece is in during decoration is always something to be aware of and experiment with.
